Door County Sales Manager

Sales Manager for Door County Radio Group is responsible for all channels of revenue building
as well as providing insight, direction, training, leadership and growth to the sales staff… and
integrate ideas with on air staff, the social media director and on air/digital promotions.
This key role reports only to the station owner and offers direction on day to day operations for
the sales staff. Essential duties and responsibilities include development and execution of sales
strategies, development of new promotions or packages to help drive new revenue, seek new
leads, assist sales staff with ideas, leads and coaching for proposals and presentations, manage
inventory, revenue forecasting, set sales goals, make decisions regarding hiring, evaluation,
promotion and termination of employees, oversee accounts receivable and manage collections,
manage recruitment, training and professional develop of sales staff, and develop long lasting
relationships with clients and account executives.
Applicants should be highly organized and comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline driven
environment. Willingness to work outside a ‘normal’ work day when need to complete tasks for
deadline or for social calls with clients is expected. Excellent written and verbal
communications a must. A four year degree in communications, marketing, or related field, or
equivalent experience preferred. Minimum three years sales and/or management experience.
Proficient in Microsoft office applications required. Additional experience in customer service,
hospitality, real-estate, beverage sales or retail welcomed. Salary plus commission structure.
Must have a valid driver's license, good working vehicle, integrity, a high standard of ethics,
outstanding interpersonal skills, and comfortable with having a fun work day on a daily basis.

Marketing and Sales Assistant/Sales Executive

Door County's Own fm 106.9 the Lodge and Rewind FM 97.7, a locally owned and operated radio group
that has changed the way people view local radio. We are currently seeking to fill a full-time support
role in our sales and marketing department. Not sure if sales is your thing? This position works closely
with our on air/programming staff to take ideas to clients and help them achieve their business goals.
You have the freedom to be out of the office, working with clients, during beautiful days in Door County,
all while learning new skills with supportive and fun office. OR...assist our outside sales staff until you
have the courage to go out on your own.
This position would work as inside and outside sales executive to assist businesses with their marketing.
Tasks include advising clients, creating proposals, suggesting ad schedules, executing ad agreements,
developing creative and ad copy, creating promotions and possible production and voice work. This
position will also advise clients on how and when to use the digital offerings of the radio group, provide
comprehensive schedules and campaigns that present the stations digital offerings in the same manner,
advising clients on media mix, creative, schedules, executing and interpreting results .
Sales Executives with Door County Radio Group are given accounts with existing relationships and are
expected to maintain and grow those relationships. This position will also prospect new clients and new
channels of revenue to grow the station opportunities, sales goals and personal income goals.
